Fixing the Folded Echo
Mai Ito x Meitei —— Silver Jewelry & Experimental Ambient Music Exhibition
“Between Sound and Form, We Repair What’s Lost.”
Two Japanese artists — Meitei and Mai Ito — explore the fragile territory between loss and repair through sound and silver. Their works resemble broken vessels, mended with sonic gold and crafted memory. What we lose may never return as it was, but in the act of reassembling, we create something new — a vessel that holds not only the past, but also the soul of transformation. These folded sounds and wearable shapes do not mourn the brokenness — they whisper of survival, of soft strength, and of quiet hope.
"Folding sound—shaping the intangible into form, then sending form back into the intangible."
